Nav box edit

This sidebar is quite intrusive being placed at the top of articles and displacing images, etc. In general Wikipedia is moving away from these and more to bottom nav boxes, so I propose this be converted to a nav box instead, with all content retained. - Ahunt (talk) 16:48, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fine with me. I suggest calling the converted nav box Template:Simple living. Nirvana2013 (talk) 17:32, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well let me convert this one to a navbox first and then we can move it. Standby. - Ahunt (talk) 20:03, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Okay, reformatted, moved and I am now moving the box on the article pages. See what you think. - Ahunt (talk) 20:16, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Box moved to the bottom of each page. Not every article listed in the box had the box installed, but they do now! - Ahunt (talk) 20:32, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well done, great stuff. Nirvana2013 (talk) 22:04, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Glad that you like the result. - Ahunt (talk) 12:23, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why does the box sometimes appear on articles collapsed and sometimes expanded? I don't have an issue with it, just intrigued that's all. Nirvana2013 (talk) 13:39, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

If this type of box appears alone as the only nav box in an article then it is open, if there are other nav boxes then it is collapsed. Neat eh? - Ahunt (talk) 14:46, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
I thought it had something with the article word count, but that makes more sense. I have also proposed changing Template:Tax resistance as per this template (see talk). Nirvana2013 (talk) 15:33, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

No portal, no link edit

The Simple Living portal was recently deleted. I've removed the red link from the template. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 09:08, 26 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
