Is this template really necessary? I am Italian and I don't think at all this might be of any usefulness to the related city articles. --Angelo 03:46, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd tend to agree, yeah... —Nightstallion (?) 11:31, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
I tend to disagree as people who aren't Italian may want to know the regional capitals of each Province, and it is a useful tool as a quick link between articles. mattytay 13:12, 9 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
I second what Mattytay said.--Fertuno 20:45, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Some sources edit

The regional capital of Trentino-Alto Adige is obviously Trento - some sources: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]--Supparluca 10:22, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your sources are wrong. Since the legge costituzionale nr. 3 ammended the constitution on October 18th, 2001 Bolzano and Trento are now alternating as capitals of the Region, which is now made up by the two provinces. Also the president of the region is for the first half of a legislature the president of the province of Trento and for the second half the president of the province of Bolzano. Therefore: in this case the Italian constitution is the sources that trumps all other sources. --noclador (talk) 11:09, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oops my bad: I checked now the statue of the province of Bozen and Trento: Trento is the capital, but both Bozen and Trento share in equal parts the sessions and duties of the capital... therefore: although Bozen and Trento alternate in the duties of the regional capital, officially the single capital of the region is Trento. therefore I reverted myself. --noclador (talk) 21:47, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
No problem.--Supparluca 08:29, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
