National Historic Landmarks edit
There should be no red-links in the National Historic Landmarks list that is part of this template. All of the NHLs in Iowa are listed in List of National Historic Landmarks in Iowa. doncram (talk) 22:22, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
State parks edit
Should the "county maintained" state parks (i. e. Frank Gotch State Park) be listed? Brandonrush Woo pig sooie 18:00, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- Yes. From what quick research I've done, they all appear to be protected areas, and they are all state owned. (Though they do not have to be state or federally owned to merit notability as a protected area.) Normally, I would place a state park leased to another government body under the regular "state parks" section, but since Iowa has 19 such parks, I think they merit their own section. They already have a section on List of Iowa state parks, with a cite. I have added them to the navbox. –Sparkgap (talk) 20:39, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
