North to South or Alphabetical edit

According to the documentation it says "the order is traditional for Japanese football north-to-south according to their geographical location". I understand this may be the case, but it's too confusing when I'm trying to navigate to another teams page through this box. When referring to teams, or places, etc, navboxes are generally done in alphabetical order are they not? Making it easy to find what you are looking for rather than having to sift through a geographical location to figure out who is higher. Borgarde (talk) 07:03, 9 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The problem with that approach is that the Japanese language alphabetical order is AIUEO, not ABC. Additionally, many clubs place the town name first and others the team name or FC/SC first. Surge79uwf (talk) 19:43, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
