Pre-Columbian Era edit
It says nothing about Canada, so how can it be considered part of Canadian history? There isn't even mention of the indigenous peoples who still inhabit Canada? It may mention growth of the population of the Americas, but should we then include articles on Evolution and the dawn of humanity in the History of Canada? - TheMightyQuill (talk) 13:15, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- I have changed it to Lithic and Archaic periods in Canada (18000 BCE - 1000 BCE) as it is a new article that is about canada during this time..........LOL only took a year to redirect the link lol lol lol

Image spam and collapsing sections edit
Pls no collapsed sections in infoboxes pls...... for those with disabilities as per MOS:COLLAPSE. The community has also decided not to jam images of Random people in boxes like this...as they do not lead to any infomation. MOS:NOETHNICGALLERIES. --Moxy (talk) 13:57, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- The changes made is the opposite of what we are looking for collapsing the links while adding images of people that lead to noting and do not convey any information or lead to any information. Please dont go out of your way to impending navigation for our readers while trying to make thing look pretty with useless images.--Moxy (talk) 14:00, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

- Great to see you join a conversation....I personally think hiding articles like Military history of Canada is not helpful at all. As per MOS:COLLAPSE and Wikipedia:Accessibility dos and don'ts. Never a good idea to make looks more important then accessibility. Pls fix this problem and in the future always think of accessibility for our reader's over personal aesthetics. -- Moxy (talk) 15:34, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- I'd also like to voice my opposition to the plains of abraham image. It's distracting and not useful. I wonder if we could have a List of histories of Canadian provinces and territories and include that one link in the template, instead of links to every article? I think having "Year list / Timeline" in the same place also made sense. - Themightyquill (talk) 06:08, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
