Family Guy edit

The Family Guy episode may have similarities to the Heaven's Gate incident as well as other cult suicides incidents. However, is there a source that says it was based on or was specifically about the Heaven's Gate incident?

Even if such a source exists, popular culture sections are questionable in articles and certainly don't belong on a template. Neitherday (talk) 14:06, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the info is cited in the article. It is wholly appropriate as a form of social commentary on a notable event in society. Cirt (talk) 21:12, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Pages 22-25 of Family Guy: The Official Episode Guide Seasons are available on Google Books. I read through them and they make no mention of Heaven's Gate or the Peoples Temple. The source does not support the text it is attached to and should probably be removed. Neitherday (talk) 02:43, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Okay. Removed it. Thanks, Cirt (talk) 04:38, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
