Palestine – United States relations edit

A link to Palestine – United States relations was removed from the template with the reasons that USA doesn't recognize the State of Palestine and that the Kosovo template doesn't include link to the article about Algeria-Kosovo relations, because Algeria doesn't recognize the Republic of Kosovo.

I think the these navigational templates should include all articles - if there is an article about such relations, then why "hide" it from the readers?

Also, the situation here is different. The Algeria-Kosovo article starts with " Algerian-Kosovan relations are non-existent. " - in contrast the USA has relations with the PLO and the PNA. And this template is not about State of Palestine only, but also about PLO and PNA.

The template also already includes links to articles about PLO/PNA relations with other states that don't recognize SoP - Denmark, UK, Vatican.

I propose that we add the US relations link here. Alinor (talk) 08:10, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I propose that in both Foreign relations of the Palestinian National Authority and Foreign relations of the Palestine Liberation Organization that Palestine – United States relations removed. Look at International recognition of Kosovo, Algeria-Kosovo relations, Armenia–Kosovo relations, Bosnia and Herzegovina - Kosovo relations, People's Republic of China - Kosovo relations, Kosovo–Russia relations, and Kosovo-Serbia relations do not exist. That is because   Algeria,   Armenia,   Bosnia and Herzegovina,   China,   Russia, and   Serbia do not even recognize the independence of Kosovo and they see its government as illegitamate. That is why I propose that Palestine – United States relations relations be removed from there. RohilPCS (talk) 16:19, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The US doesn't recognize the State of Palestine, but they recognize the PLO (not as a state, but as representative of the Palestinian people, as counterpart in the Israel-Palestinian talks; USA is one of the signatories to the Oslo Accords - the other signatories are PLO, Israel, Russia). And this template is not about SoP relations, but about PLO, SoP and PNA relations. It's different from the Kosovo template that is only about Republic of Kosovo relations.
