Page-specific title edit

I have reverted this change. I am assuming this is due to a double-bolding effect seen in Windows 7 with Firefox? if so, the place to discuss this issue would be MediaWiki talk:Common.css or Template talk:Navbox, since the same problem would effect thousands of navboxes. for some history, see this thread. So what is the solution? MisterBee1966 (talk) 16:42, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
is it a Windows 7 and Firefox problem? Frietjes (talk) 16:58, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
The problem I intend to address is that I don't want the title to appear in bold face text on the "Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross" article because linking to itself is not needed. Whether this is a Windows or Firefox issues I can't tell. It works with the solution I had implemented. MisterBee1966 (talk) 17:02, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
MisterBee1966, okay, I will assume you are using Windows 7 and Firefox. do the following: (1) open User:MisterBee1966/common.css and (2) add b, strong { font-weight: bold !important;} and (3) save the change and (4) press ctrl-R to force reload of the css page. this should fix the problem, just tested in my own common.css (note I have other stuff in there that isn't related, and it's just this line that fixes it). I will start a thread at MediaWiki talk:Common.css to see if we can have this changed site-wide. Frietjes (talk) 17:17, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, this fixed my issue. I would support a global change MisterBee1966 (talk) 17:38, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
MisterBee1966, great. it looks promising. if a fix is implemented in MediaWiki:Common.css, you can remove that line from your common.css. Frietjes (talk) 18:52, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
