Skeleton (sport) (bizarre tone which could do with some copyediting) Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show." Expand: Average (sports) (crucial article explaining the concept, nomenclature, math; redir to it from Average (sport); use Batting average as starting point for ideas) Photo: for pages listed in Category:Wikipedia requested photographs of sports and games, Wikipedia:Requested pictures/Society#Sport and referenced categories. Split: Cross-training into Cross-training and Cross-training (business); Hockey puck into Puck (sports) (w/ Puck (sport) redir) and Hockey puck (and update Puck DAB page) Stubs: work on articles in Category:Sports stubs Other: Translate the page of sport in each country from corresponding article in other language Wikipedia to English Wikipedia which was marked in red. Details and list needed to be done Categorize: Gather all (major/olympic) sports to be part of this project

Notes

This template should include things like whitewater rafting, BASE jumping, hot air ballooning, and caving, to name a few. Maybe even abandoned mine exploration, stock car racing, and Zorbing. If snowboarding is included, so should downhill skiing and telemark skiing. If surfing is included, so should scuba diving. I don't consider skateboarding an extreme sport at all but media promotion has made it one so I won't argue for it's removal at this point, but in any case this template is horribly incomplete. 173.59.192.55 (talk) 07:12, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
