Continuing Jurisdictions

Should the Continuing Anglican list be limited to only those jurisidictions that endorse the Affirmation of Saint Louis? It seems that's the general consesus amongst people of the ACA and APCK. -- TTTR 2:17PM, 15 May 2008 (PST)

There are three jurisdictions who hold to the Affirmation of St. Louis. The Anglican Catholic Church (ACC), the Anglican Province of Christ the King (APCK), and the United Episcopal Church of North America (UECNA). There are other churches (such as the Orthodox Anglican Church, and the Anglican Province of America) who hold to the Affirmation of St. Louis, but their churches did not come out of the Congress of St. Louis, but pre-dated it (at least in the case of the Orthodox Anglican Church). I think the list should limit itself to those who openly hold to the Affirmation of St. Louis, but that clarification should be made that the three aforementioned churches (ACC, APCK, and UECNA) should be paramount on the list. -- Shadowmane —Preceding undated comment added 02:30, 10 March 2010 (UTC).

I gave the discussion/explantion you demanded on the Continuing Anglican page. Read it. It is totally incorrect to mix Continuing Anglian churches with a movement they have no part in and want no part in. There are only a couple of Continuing Anglican churches that tentatively joined, and they are properly included on the Realignment page. The Continuing Anglican template -- a new addition to this long established page -- needs to be corrected. Otherwise, it is fine. One more point, SECisek. You've listed two Anglican Realignment "organizations" which are not organizations or associations at all but CHURCH BODIES--AMiA and CANA. There is nothing wrong with having all the information that is in both the Anglican Relignment and Continuing Anglican pages, but there are glaring errors in both that you are fighting to keep incorrect. Suggestion: change link for "Holy Catholic Church-Western Rite"

In the list of churches, the link to "Holy Catholic Church-Western Rite" should probably be replaced by Holy Catholic Church (Anglican Rite). A 2010 merger attempt between the two does not appear to have lasted, and it is not clear that HCC-WR still exists. --Bistropha (talk) 05:27, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
