This template may be used to supply a section hatnote to the top of a former-Rfc discussion, when the Rfc header is removed.

Usage edit

{{rfc demote|rfcid=hexcode|suffix=any text}}
{{rfc demote|hexcode|any text}}

Parameters edit

|rfcid= – this is required, and must have the same value as rfcid added by Legobot. Alias: unnamed parameter 1.
|suffix= – optional text to append to the basic demotion hatnote. Alias: unnamed parameter 2.

Parameter usage note: use either only named parameters (rfcid, suffix) or only unnamed; do not mix them.
