Tavon Wilson (born March 19, 1990) is an American football safety for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He play college football at the University of Illinois.

College career

Wilson is a very versatile player who can play both cornerback and safety. He played college football for the University of Illinois, during which time he had 38 consecutive starts, also he was named team's outstanding defensive back at the annual postseason banquet.

He was drafted in the second round by the New England Patriots in the 2012 NFL Draft. He recorded his first interception on Jake Locker during the opening game of the 2012 NFL season.
