Talupula is a village and a mandal in Anantapur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]
Geography
Talupula is located at 14°15′00″N 78°16′00″E / 14.2500°N 78.2667°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 382 metres (1256 ft).
Demography
Talupula Mandal has area of 280.3 square kilometers (69,234 acres). Its population is 42,019 (2001 census). Dalits constitute10%,tribes 6%.Gender ratio is 959. Literacy rate of the mandal is 51%. Among them males 67%, females 35%. The entire working class constitutes 45% agriculture labour, 1% industrial workers, and unorganised workers 16%. School children are 6159. Teacher student ration is 1:23. Junior college students are 278. For every one lakh population these students represents 661. For every 1 lakh population there only 4 doctors to look after the health of the people. There are 10 beds for every 10,000 population in the government general dispensary.
In Talupula Mandal the literacy rate compare to urban areas is very low. Most of all students studied within Talupula mandal rural villages only. And also here Teacher student relations is highly valuable. Only one govt Junior college available. Within Talupula mandal many historical places are available one is Batrepalli waterfalls, near Bandlapalli/Nangivandlapalli Obulesawar swami temple on hill etc. places are available.
