Tallebudgera (meaning "good fish"),[2] originally known as Maybree,[2] is a suburb of the Australian city of Gold Coast. The Tallebudgera Creek forms the westernmost and north-east border of Tallebudgera and also bisects Tallebudgera.[citation needed]
The traditional owners were the Tul-gi-gin people.[3] of Australian Aborigines, Indigenous Australians now account for just 0.8% of the population of Tallebudgera, only one third of the national average of 2.3%.[1]
