Holy orders

Does this language "Being admitted to holy orders, he left the University of Cambridge about 1603, and was presented to the rectory of Albury" stem from EB11, then? It's not exactly comprehensible to someone who was taught English as a 2nd language in the 1970s. Does it mean he graduated with the right to become a priest in the Church of England, and got the job of parish priest in Albury? --LA2 (talk) 09:30, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

At that time, the year began at the end of March, so 5 March was part of the same year as the previous December. He was probably born in the year 1574 according to the old calendar, which would be 1575 according to the current calendar. I'm not sure which convention Wikipedia uses Bluap (talk) 03:42, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

I can't find the pronunciation again today (17 August 2023). Has it been deleted? Or moved to somewhere hard to find? I've hunted up and down the article using Control_F, typing in various possibilities such as "pronunciation", "pronounc", "name", and the IPA slash symbol / (in case IPA symbols have been used), but still can't find it. Lüboslóv Yęzýkin (above) said it was "shown in the notes" and that he had "changed it to be more obvious", but I can't find it now. It should be at the very beginning.
