List of notable welders edit

I made this list from Category:Welders before it was deleted.

See Talk:List of electricians for a similar list, which was kept after Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of electricians. – Fayenatic London 09:58, 8 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Questionable terminology edit

The term welder refers to the operator, the machine is referred to as the welding power supply.

Not according to Lincoln Electric. In their welding courses they used to offer to aspiring tradesmen, the "welding power supply" was referred to as the welder and the person doing the welding was referred to as the weldor.
