While it really was so, that the Communist Party of Estonia (1990) was banned in 1991, after the coup attempt, can someone please clarify, what was the relation of the remnants of that party to the SKP-KPSS. CPSU (Communist Party of Soviet Union, NLKP in Estonian) was banned 23rd August 1991. All the funds and property were issued to be confiscated. Estonian Democratic Labour Party (EDTP) was recognised as a legal successor of Communist Party of Estonia (EKP), so actually EKP wasn't banned. Only the apparatus of Soviet Occupation, i.e. CPSU in Estonia, was banned. Links: 1 and 2 --Smörre (talk) 23:20, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
