This was by far the best and most accurate biography of Travis Meeks ever written before it was destroyed. Very underrated IMO and that's a fact.

Im not sure who keeps putting his birthday as April 25th, but that is an incorrect date. He was actually born on April 27th.

Ok what is this Maestro nonsense? Who gave it to him? And what achievements? He can't keep a stable band lineup for more than one record. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.136.143 (talk) 20:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Maybe could some one possible just go talk to Travis and get some of these things straightened out? Cause I am sure he would rather have the truth on here then lies to make him look worse. He's an incredible musician and an incredibly misunderstood musician who's name should not be tattered no more. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.117.4.139 (talk) 14:15, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Autism? edit

This page mentions that Meeks is autistic, while the DOTN main article mentions Asperger's. While similar, these are distinct diagnoses. Can anyone get a reference to clarify which (if either) is actually the case? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.44.161.138 (talk) 14:23, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, an Asperger's diagnosis *is* an autism diagnosis, so they aren't really that distinct. Saying they are distinct diagnoses is kind of like saying a breast cancer diagnosis is not the same as a diagnosis of cancer. Autism is a general diagnosis that includes a range of conditions, and Asperger's is a syndrome specific to the autism spectrum. For this reason, the article should stay the same unless someone can post a reference that says Asperger's specifically (besides a link to the DOTNwiki). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.73.146.36 (talk) 01:14, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Elvis Presley's Brother-In-Law edit

His father couldn't have played with any brother-in-law of Elvis, because Elvis was an only child. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.33.226.231 (talk) 18:41, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't matter if he's a only child he could have a BROTHER IN LAW — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.129.116.123 (talk) 20:56, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The section regarding musical influences edit

It is absolutely impossible to read, and it feels like an AI generated that… “paragraph” 2600:6C40:200:65E:3DA8:8611:6434:288F (talk) 19:12, 2 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I see this comment was made back in 2022, but it applies to the majority of the article now in 2024-02. Several sections of this page need a near total rewrite. The sentence constructions are extremely unnatural, and the writer seems allergic to punctuation. Reading this felt like developing aphasia in real time.
