I changed the only external link into a general reference, but after looking at the external link, it still needs more citations, particularly in the applications heading, as there isn't any mention of applications on the referenced page. Kaos-pheory (talk) 09:31, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Is there a process that can use this as a starting material for the production of a sealed quartz (silicon oxide) container (envelope, outer sphere, etc) of some type containing either ethanol or ethanol/water mixture?
