No Longer Redundant

As of 21 January 2016, this article is no longer redundant as the associated technical information was greatly truncated and summarized in the "Technical Specifications" section of the SNES article. (now very sparse and devoid of the sort of information found in most console and computer articles that lack dedicated technical pages to defer to) There seems to be merit of re-activating this article and including an appropriate link in the SNES artcle.

It seems there may have been confusion by the editors, as the technical specification section of the SNES article was truncated long after the 2014 comment on redundancy was made here, and no further comment was made in the mean time to address the lack of relevance of the 'redundant' citation. (from 2016-2017 "Super Nintendo Entertainment System technical specifications" article served a valid purpose and should either be re-activated or have the information formerly located in the SNES article reverted to its 2015 state)

If there were poorly cited or uncited components of the technical specifications section, those should have been dealt with specifically rather than omitting it in its entirety. (I'm also unsure what complaints regarding being oriented towards a general audience refers to, as the technical details are no less general audience than in various engineering, programming, computer science, and similar computing articles) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kool kitty89 (talk • contribs) 04:53, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
