Comparison to Tracy Lawrence's "I See It Now"

Good morning; I read Brady Vercher of the Engine 145 compared this song to Tracy Lawrence's "I See It Now" in the "critical reception" section. I was wondering if both songs have the same storyline? I know at the time of "Now"'s release, Toby's career had only lasted a year and a half, so it surprised me that "Me" was compared to a fellow artist (Lawrence)'s song that he released years earlier.
