Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.

National protected area edit

Why is there no discussion of this park? If we have nothing to say about it, why does it have its own section? Paul, in Saudi (talk) 11:09, 12 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

It's a major geographical feature of Rutherford County, occupying a significant area. Seems appropriate that, until a prose section is written (if even necessary, since it has its own article), it can safely and appropriately occupy the position in the list that is already there. Lists of cities, towns and municipalities are pretty common features of county articles, and as an interim solution, it seems a reasonable place for the battlefield link. Certainly, a link, under See Also or whatever, but a section lacking any meat seems very non-standard. Paul, in Saudi (talk) 13:46, 12 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Help with presidential election table edit

I think this should be on the right side of the politics section, but can't figure out how to get it there. Help would be appreciated. Also, it would be better if text could run next to the table. When I changed the indicators from "center" to "right," they are no longer hidden.Parkwells (talk) 02:40, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

What's going to happen in 30 years? edit

User:AppalachianCentrist has added, "A study conducted by the University of Tennessee projects Rutherford County to become the third largest county in Tennessee by population by 2050". WP:BALL states, "Individual scheduled or expected future events should be included only if the event is notable and almost certain to take place". I'm not sure even the University of Tennessee is able to be "almost certain" about demographic events in a US county 30 years in the future. User:AppalachianCentrist has chosen to edit war over this, so I am seeking the input of others. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:09, 15 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Mosque conflict edit

The local conflict over the Muslim mosque (2000-2017, particularly 2012), is not simply a local event. It was a major news event -- a national issue, debated in newspapers and on national television and talk radio for years -- that brought intense global interest (especially among Muslim nations), and played heavily into the national anti-Muslim movement that culminated in the election of Donald Trump.

Hence, it is important to note that scale of interest and significance beyond the locality. The references I'm citing (and I'm not done, yet) will make that clear.

I'll attempt to (again) tidy up some of the redundant language, if you'll give me an hour or so to finish up, please.
