Right-wing paramilitarism in El Salvador → Death squads in El Salvador – These are far more commonly referred to as "death squads". Very few sources use the specific phrase "right-wing paramilitarism", but hundreds of books, including many that are currently in the references column, call them "death squads". - What makes death squads a POV term? It is defined in reliable sources as "Death squads are clandestine and usually irregular organizations, often paramilitary in nature, which carry out extrajudicial executions and other violent acts (torture, rape, arson, bombing, etc.) against clearly defined individuals or groups of people.
