Talk:Jane Adams (actress, born 1918)

Untitled edit

Could this be actress Poni Adams? Birthday and last name is the same and daughter lives in Washington. Please comment: http://www.westfordfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Betty-Turnage/#!/Obituary — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.69.14.179 (talk) 14:07, 3 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Interesting...This could very well be her, which would mean that she was a few years older than thought. I think we should wait a little to see if we can find any obituaries that specifically mention her film career. OscarL 21:28, 3 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

It would appear to be her, yes. IMDB lists her as Jane Adams. The dates match and her birth name was Betty. My question is, why isn't this entry listed as Jane Adams. Poni was a nickname.

Perhaps the reason for the "Poni Adams" listing is that Wikipedia has a Jane Adams (actress) for another person. That's just my guess. One option might be to change the title to "Jane (Poni) Adams". Eddie Blick (talk) 22:48, 16 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Apparently the woman mentioned in the obituary link above is the actress. Tonight I found Bellingham, Washington, listed as her place of death in the book Westerns Women: Interviews with 50 Leading Ladies of Movie and Television Westerns from the 1930s to the 1960s. I added that to the article, with the citation. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:28, 17 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

The result of this is that her place of death is given as Washington in the text, but California in the biobox. CFLeon (talk) 08:21, 23 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Bellinham, Washington or Palm Desert, California? edit

her personal section says she died in Belingham, Washington but her "Died" section at the top of her page says Palm Desert, California. Research needed! 2603:9001:3902:32D5:B0BB:7597:BE45:99E2 (talk) 03:20, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for pointing out that inconsistency. I have revised one of the citations about Bellingham to show the source's content in that regard. I also changed the infobox to show Bellingham as her place of death. Eddie Blick (talk) 00:01, 29 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
