Outside of "this day in history"-type webpages (VERY bad source), I could only find one website that gives this info. Her maiden voyage was sometime in the teens of October, but I can't pin down the exact days to any reasonable degree of certainty. --mav 03:51, 15 Oct 2003 (UTC)

I removed "October 15th is the last day to file an Individual Income Tax Return with the Internal Revenue Service with a granted additional extension." as it doesn't belong in the intro, and I don't know what country it applies to. DJ Clayworth 18:56, 20 July 2005 (UTC)

I question the claim H. L. Hunley was "first successful submarine", when she sank on two trials and her only operational mission, as well as the fact she was preceded by David Bushnell's Turtle in 1776.
