Talk:Morey's Piers
Location of Dracula's Castle
Dracula's Castle wasn't on Adventure Pier, it was on Nichols Pier, across from Mariner's.
Sounds like an advertisement
This sounds a bit too much like an advertizement. It needs a few edits. Could someone mark it as sounding like an add. I'm not loged in right now. - 24.0.220.96 (talk) 04:41, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. I'll put up the advertisement template, which will hopefully draw some attention. "The Adventure Pier is 'for the extremist in all of us.'"? I just removed the entire second History section because it was lifted verbatim from the Morey's Pier website and, in turn, from Amusement Parks of New Jersey by Jim Futrell. --Ando228 (talk) 15:08, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- I just removed the same copyvio text from the article again. The entire History section was copy/pasted from the Morey's website which was in turn an excerpt from Amusement Parks of New Jersey by Jim Futrell. Deleted. -- Transity(talk • contribs) 02:52, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Bill and Will... and Lou?
What is the relationship between Bill and Will Morey, mentioned in the Pier's official history, and Lou Morey who built most of the motels along with (the same?) Will Morey, per Hastings, Kirk. Doo Wop Motels: Architectural Treasures of The Wildwoods. Mechanicsburg, PA: Stackpole Books. pp. 11–12. ISBN 978-0-8117-3389-2.. Please scroll up to page 11. Ferris Wheel Death
Is it appropriate to add something about the girl who died on a ferris wheel on June 3, 2011? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.3.55.102 (talk) 11:18, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
