Copyright edit

I take it that this probably was copied from a paper for a class? If it is not copyright, it should be better wikified, i.e. get rid of references to figures that don't exist and wikilink important aspects. Lcolson 21:52, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. A lot of interesting stuff in this article, but it needs a lot of re-working. Besides the needed Wikifying I'd suggest at the very least it needs an introductory paragraph. Robotman1974 13:14, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
The phrase 'we had confidently expected' suggests that at least some of the material is copied straight from the original source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.173.128.209 (talk) 19:27, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikify edit

  1. It needs a short first section providing overview.
  2. It needs links.
  3. The referenced pictures needs to be either uploaded or not mentioned.
  4. There are some stars in the article, referring to footnotes. The footnotes aren't there. They need to be added, or the references (stars) need to be removed.
  5. Reference 17 is broken. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kylemech (talkcontribs) 04:32, 16 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Article name edit

The article name should be changed [back] to Molten-Salt Reactor Experiment. Because this is a specific named project and facility, its name is a proper name which should be in title case. I will go to request the move. --orlady 13:53, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Page moved, per request. -GTBacchus(talk) 15:16, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Was the reactor really running on Pu239 ? edit

Is there any reference for the reactor using Pu239 as fissile fuel (not only as a small impurity) ? I could not find any hint for this, more of the opposite: The first fuel was U-235, than U-233 (until 1969). The articles about cleanup show some Pu, but not much compared to U233.--Ulrich67 (talk) 09:06, 1 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Clean up section edit

In the section on clean up there's a line 'H2 - hydrogen fluoride'. But H2 isn't HF. Someone more knowledgeable than me should clean this up. Are both H2 and HF used or just HF? AgingDisgracefully (talk) 08:38, 4 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
