This article is completely full of lie and based on hatred against Ottoman Empire.
None of Ottoman emperors including the Sultan Mehmed has ever been a bisexual.
After Istanbul was conquered, Notaras was summoned and questioned about city's resistance which was unexpectedly longer than expected. He said some of Emperor's grand vizier was sending false messages that were saying siege will be lifted soon.
After that revealed truth, Grand vizier Candarli Halil Pasa was executed.

This has been pulled from a couple of academic articles, & a posting to a Usenet group; there is that little information on Notaras' parents & children.
Father: Nicholas Notaras // Mother: not known
Wife: A woman referred to as "Palaeologina". She may have been a relative of Constantine XI; the post to Usenet claims Constantine XI was married a third time (sic!) to a woman considered Notaras' sisiter
Children: This is a little less unreliable
Two sons killed in the Fall of Constantinople.
Jacob Notaras. A younger son who was taken by Mehmed II into his Seragio to serve as a catamite. Jacob escaped from the Seragio & Constantinople, finding his way to Italy where his sister helped him establish himself in Venice. Married, no children.
Anna Notaras. Oldest daughter & best known of Loukas' children. Moved to Italy before the Fall of Constantinople. AFAIK, never married, no children. Died 8 July 1507
Maria Notaras. Loukas had a son-in-law who was executed before him; maybe he was Maria's husband? There is a report 2 Notaras daughters are documented fleeing the city after its Fall & arriving at Chios.
Helena / Euphrosyne Notaras. Married Giorgio Gattilusio (d. 1449), she & her children cheated out of their inheritance by Palamedes Gattilusio. She may have remarried to a Kantakouzos. Dead by 1480, possibly in Ottoman territories.
Theodora Notaras. Loukas had a son-in-law who was executed before him; maybe he was Theodora's husband? There is a report 2 Notaras daughters are documented fleeing the city after its Fall & arriving at Chios.
