Fixed width tables edit

The use of fixed-width tables on these pages makes the tables user-unfriendly as it makes scrolling impossible if you are halfway through a table. is there any rationale behind having the widths fixed? I've removed the fixed widths and the tables are perfectly functional. Any thoughts as to why these were fixed width? Please discuss here. Rob Sinden (talk) 11:45, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Blue ribbons edit

What's with these blue ribbon icons in some of the "Notes" sections? Would it be worth explaining this somewhere, or is it some new Wikipedia-wide initiative that i've missed? tomasz. 14:34, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

It means that the cartoon was reissued and often with such progress original titles went missing in favor for more dull titles. DoctorHver (talk) 14:56, 29 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

2/2/1935 - Title needs to be corrected edit

I'm afraid to touch it due to all the hard work done by all who have edited these pages already. The title should be "Country Boy", not "The Country Boy". It can be seen in the titles of the short itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fgoron2000 (talkcontribs) 00:05, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Um, never mind...I see in the notes on the right side that the short was reissued with the title "Country Boy". I must have seen a reissue.

Radio and Television Packager Inc Redraws edit

Back in 1973, a company known as Radio and Television Packagers Inc took 43 public domain cartoons (including eight Warner Brothers cartoons) from various studios and had them redrawn colorized among other things. Could the mentions of these cartoons be added to the article as notes? I will list the eight WB cartoons colorized by the company and give a link to the source.

  • "We're in the Money" - retitled "Toy Shop" (1933), Merry Melody
  • "Ain't Nature Grand?" – (1931) Bosko Looney Tune of the same name
  • "Moonlight for Two" - retitled "Barnyard Frolic" –(1931), Goopy Geer Merry Melody
  • "Bosko's Woodland Daze" – (1932) Bosko Looney Tune of the same name
  • "Country Boy" - retitled "Country Boy Rabbit" (1935), Merry Melody (originally in color, likely colorized from a home movie black and white print)
  • "I Like Mountain Music" - retitled "Magazine Rack" (1933), Merry Melody
  • "Ups 'n Downs" - retitled "Off To The Races" (1931), Bosko Looney Tune
  • "One More Time" - retitled "On Duty" – (1931), Foxy Merry Melody

Something Wrong With 1931 Section/Edit Request 8/25/17 edit

There appears to be something that is wrong with the 1931 section of the article. In the section, there are two notes that appear on top of the section that should be in the notes section of Hittin' the Trail for Hallelujah Land. They are,

I tried fixing this mistake on August 6, but my edits strangely didn't do anything to fix the mistakes and only created a small void section between that cartoon and Bosko's Fox Hunt. Could someone properly fix that section? I would appreciate that very much! --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 19:15, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Well, it looks like my request was answered a while back. Whoever answered my request, thank you! :) --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 21:05, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Cartoon numbering edit

From the 1934 series, there is a numbering of each cartoon starting from 071. All the numbers on the 1940s and 1950s pages have numbers. The tables for 1960-2 are missing numbers. The numbers start again on the 1963 table and are missing again on the 1970s to present page.

This needs to be consistent. I'm assuming that Bosko, the Talk-Ink Kid is not given a number, or treated as number 000. Then the other numbers in the 1930s match up 1930 x 5, 1931 x 17, 1932 x 25, 1933 x 23. for a total of 70. This makes an assumption that Bosko and Honey is not given it's own number.

Working on these assumptions, I have added numbers to this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bryces (talkcontribs) 19:52, 1 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
