I am submitting this new entry as it is a variant of other malt drinks now on the market. It is very similar to others but I am working on gathering as much information as I can on the Joose product. Please consider this entry for permanent edition to the Wikipedia.

I don't get it...I serve at NNSY Portsmouth, VA with the United States Navy--Joose is available here, except for it's "Light" variety. The write-up is accurate, how can you say this is up for deletion? That's a load of bull-crap, the write-up is factual! Who the hell do you think you people are? I don't understand this! First you delete Brian Peppers, now this! Wikipedia should also reference things that are in popular culture; that's the inherent beauty of it--you don't want to be some stodgy, uptight "Encyclopedia Britainica." Removal of PROD tag

I removed the Prod tag for two reasons. Even though the text is quite similar to Sparks (drink), evidence suggests that Sparks and Joose are different products. However, there is some confusion about the manufacturer. Several on-line sources point at United Brands Co. (La Mesa, CA), such as the reference I added (Beverage World BevBeat article); other sources I've found so far are no formally reliable sources, so I'm not including them here. "Joose" is also noted as the name of a malt liquor from Gluek Brewery on a beer rating forum, but I was unable to confirm that this was a correct attribution to the company by searching their site, suggesting this is an error (see http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/joose/73513/11116/ and http://www.gluek.com/). To add to the confusion, "Joose" has been trademarked in Australia in relation to a sparkling wine (page 34 of 272 in http://pericles.ipaustralia.gov.au/ols/epublish/journals//trademarks/tm2038p20061005.pdf). Second reason - the claim that "Joose" is a YouTube created term that is a synonym for "Sparks" appears to be incorrect. Hi Ceyocky. Thanks for your work on this. I don't totally agree with the removal of the Prod tag, since I still don't think this is a notable drink or that there are reliable sources for it, as you have found for yourself, but whatever. And of course part of the problem is that there is an Australian product called Moo Joose! I guess I was not clear on the PROD tag, since I never meant to imply that Sparks and Joose were the same drink. In "The word "Joose" seems to be being promoted by some Youtube videos on the same subject", I meant the same subject to be "Joose", not "Sparks", but I can see where the confusion arose. In any case, I really don't think that one undated magazine article and a bunch of online videos and webforum postings are enough to claim notability, and I find the non-functioning www.drinkjoose.com website very telling! Let's see whether your tag has any effect at discovering some sources we have failed to find. If not, I think that AFD may be the way to go from my perspective --Slp1 19:40, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

In Mississippi, Joose is restricted for whatever reason to 6.0% alc/vol. I have never seen it any other way. Also, can designs are different, but it is labeled as United Brands Company. Regarding suggestion to re-write

This article was nominated for deletion previously in part based on the extreme similarity to the text of Sparks (drink). It is certain that Joose is sufficiently dissimilar from Sparks so that a distinctly worded article might be crafted.
