Comment edit

Judge Grady was interested in providing further details of his biography. This edit is a result of several interviews with the Judge in September, 2017. I have not provided hot links. As a Wiki novice, I feel that is best served by a more experienced editor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjked (talkcontribs) 18:13, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Judge Grady is not known as John Francis Grady. Instead he is known as John F. Grady and wishes to change the title of this page. Is this possible? Can someone help me with this issue? mjked Nov 8,2017 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjked (talkcontribs) 20:24, 8 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Some Changes That Need To Be Made edit

Would it be okay if I made this small changes? I will not delete any references, but can I mention him as a judge on inactive senior status? And can I take out the January 30, 2015 in the May 23, 1994- January 30, 2015 in the Senior Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. It would make sense to do that since he is on inactive senior status. I have contacted the Federal Judicial Center about this judge, and they told me he took inactive senior status, not retired like many press reports said. They told me that the press reports saying he retired probably mean inactive senior status. They told me they would have received a notification if he retired.Ameet12345 (talk) 16:50, 23 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

The FJC reference says he took senior status in 1994, and the Illinois US court reference says he retired in 2015. I can't see a problem there.
You're welcome to forward the press reports you mention above to the FJC: maybe they've made a mistake in good faith. But that's a separate matter. Also, reports of phone calls to them are WP: Original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. 82.132.215.200 (talk) 19:21, 23 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
