Shinjuku Station "destroyed" in 1968?! edit

Under the "Criminal incidents", it states "On October 21, 1968, groups of extremist students celebrating 'International Antiwar Day' occupied and destroyed Shinjuku Station in Tokyo." In support of this claim, there is a footnote to a book. However, on the Shinjuku Station WP entry, under "History", it reads "The station was a major site for student protests in 1968 and 1969, the height of civil unrest in postwar Japan." There's a bit of a difference between being "a major site for protests" and being "destroyed". Can anyone explain the extent of damage that was actually done to the station in '68 by the student group? Bricology (talk) 20:35, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
