Being split out?

Is this in the process of actively being split out from the Orissa article, or is it a redundant fork which should be deleted? Gene Nygaard 01:11, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

The list of monuments is incomplete. See Yule, Early Historic Sites in Orissa, Delhi 2006 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.249.154.146 (talk) 22:54, 30 January 2016 (UTC) for example Badmal, Budigarh, Ganjam, Golabai, Jamsaragarh, Jaugada, Kharligarh, Khurdigarh, Manmunda, Rabania, Radhanagar, Sitabhinji etc.

Copyright Violation(s)???

At least part of the "blurb" about Ranipur-Jharial was copy and pasted from 123Orissa.com. The entire article reads like a tourism book. I suspect it is all a copyright violation, however, I can't find a specific reference. James084 16:21, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I am not sure. I copied it from the Wikipedia article on Orissa. The person who posted it in the Orissa entry may have copied it.

I copied this from the Orissa as everything is in a real BIG mess there, and some sections from Orissa need to be transferred to new articles.

I will eventually make this article look good, and add more stuff to it, just like I did to Oriya cuisine or Jayadeva or Vedanta University. I just don't have time until mid January to get down to rewrite/reorganize this article until then.

I'll also clean up/enhance other articles too later, such as Ritwik Sanyal.

• Actual nominator's rationale- As per successful RM discussion at Talk:Odisha to move the article from Orissa to Odisha, it is equally logical to move relevant articles to "... Odisha".
