Hermann Schmid (computer scientist)Decimal Computation – The article is about the book, not about the author. Neither has much signs of notability, but the book, at least, has some traction. The only present Wikipedia link to this article is from Decimal, where it's essentially an "authorlink". — Arthur Rubin (talk) 15:50, 22 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

As a person, he fails speedy deletion criteria A7. However, the book may be notable, so I'm not going to nominate it. It's also an unsourced WP:BLP; although I hate to add to the backlog, that's where it needs to go, if it's not renamed as requested above. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 17:34, 22 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate entries? edit

Are Hermann Schmid and Hermann von Schmid the same person? If so, the two articles should be merged or at least cross-referenced. 98.28.166.53 (talk) 03:30, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
