There are no innocent civilians in war edit

Sure it's a totally revolting quote (Redacted), but he did make that statement numerous times that there are no innocent civilians in war and that every body was somehow connected to the war effort. I personally disagree (Redacted), but should that quote be added? 24.44.68.146 (talk) 19:48, 16 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I'll review this soon. Seattle (talk) 13:30, 26 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • No DAB links, no dead links. The source url for the badge images, the infobox image, and the "30 years of service" image is not specific enough.
They've just been taken down at the original site. Fortunately, we archived them on Commons. Added link to archive site.
  • Ref 26 needs an ndash. Ref 1 needs a page range ndash.
    Done. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • The PDF file references could use a "|format=PDF" parameter.
Why? They have the PDF icon. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Can you justify the reliability of the "Nuclear Diner" reference?
It's just about where his ashes are. The site is a blog, run by three women who have worked at LASL. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "Cockcroft-Walton" needs an ndash.
    Done. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "From 1961 to 1964" watch caps
    Corrected. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Nothing on his death in the lead?
It's right there in the first sentence.
A sentence on his death would be beneficial to summarize the "later life" section and give closure to the lead. Seattle (talk) 10:48, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Done. Hawkeye7 (talk) 20:40, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "He witnessing the" past here
    Correct. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Can you link "telemetering" somewhere, or explain what it is?
Yes, there is an article on it. Linked. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "Fellow postgraduate student" plural here
    Corrected. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I would like to hear more on when he served as a Senator for New Mexico. Certainly there's more on what he supported and his actions in the Senate.
    So would I. Got a source? Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Have you looked for sources? Seattle (talk) 10:48, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Yes. That's where I got the rest of the article from. Hawkeye7 (talk) 20:40, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
    I could not find much, but I added what little I had. Hawkeye7 (talk) 08:30, 29 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Can you link "Eastern bloc" somewhere?
    Done. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Wall Street Journal needs italics
    Done. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "illegal means.". double period.
    Corrected. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Other than the Senator issue, most concerns are minor and fixable. I will re-look when these issues are responded to. Seattle (talk) 13:52, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Meets GA criteria after a re-look. Passing. Seattle (talk) 15:42, 29 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Is it worth mentioning he isn't related to Spiro Agnew? edit

"Agnew" is a very common surname and nothing in the article implies he is related; I do not think readers will be confused. Partofthemachine (talk) 04:28, 28 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
