Assessment edit

Unbalanced at present. needs more info on transportation, land use, infrastructure, environment. and more references. Anlace 05:41, 25 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Multiple grammatical errors, and as a long time resident, I have not heard it called the flats, or Jelly Belly land (not to say it's not called that, but they aren't mainstream nicknames). Only one of the current "best neighborhoods" (it may help to mention that one of them is a single street, and another is a new subdivision of currently about 15-20 homes is being built, and cannot be considered "safest" without a track record) are nice SAFE neighborhoods. The Cordelia green valley divisions where completely left out. This is an entire section that needs a lot more citing and help. Offtherail (talk) 06:29, 2 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cordelia/Cordelia Junction edit

Cordelia (Cordelia Junction, the junction between Interstates 80 and 680 and Route 12, with travel rest stops and Scandia) needs mention in the article as it is within Fairfield city limits. Rodriguez High School is also located within Cordelia. --Geopgeop 11:30, 28 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

It is important to remember that Cordelia is a residential neighborhood, not it's own city. It should be listed in the "best neighborhood" section. And that Scandia is a small business like many other places in Fairfield, which is why it may not warrant mention. Offtherail (talk) 06:04, 2 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome To Fairfield Sign edit

The Welcome to Fairfield sign is not there any more. Should the image of it be removed? 2601:640:C002:9300:2812:E846:88BD:EB6B (talk) 04:48, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Removal of earliest history edit

@Magnolia677:, I'm confused by this removal, edit summary the source cited makes no mention of Fairfield. The title of the page is "About Fairfield", it's hosted on the Fairfield city .gov site, and the first sentence is The earliest native inhabitants of the Fairfield area were... Did you mean to give a different reason for removing the text? Schazjmd (talk) 19:53, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi User:Schazjmd, I see this all the time on US city articles, where stuff in the next city or county gets shoehorned into an article, like a state park 50 miles away (but with the same ZIP code). The source clearly states the "artifacts" were found in Green Valley, which is close to, but not Fairfield, but revert if you want. Cheers! Magnolia677 (talk) 21:31, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
