I'm pretty sure that there was an earlier programming language called English than the Pick one mentioned here. I vaguely remember reading an early 1960s article on it sometime during the late 1970s. -- Derek Ross

dictionary.die.net refers to "Exploring the Pick Operating System", J.E. Sisk et al, Hayden 1986. Does anyone have access to this book? If so, it'd be a good reference.
