Ok, I've prodded this, because I can't find any sources. Searching for Dmitry Dmitrievich Maksutov gives less than 50 links, mostly to mirrors and blogs. Addhoc 14:03, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Plenty of references if you leave out the middle name edit

Do a search on just "Dimitri Maksutov". There are over 500 references on Google.

If you go to a gathering of amateur astronomers, and hear them talking about their "Macs", they're not talking about Macintosh computers, they are saying "Mak" for Maksutov telescope. If the article is a stub, it's a stub but Dmitri Maksutov was an important historical figure in the scientific community so the article should stay. Rsduhamel 17:13, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough, I won't pursue this to AfD. Addhoc 17:46, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
