Sections on Constantine's arrival in Italy Need Cleanup edit

This section reads like a fairly careful, but not completely understandable translation from another source language. I know how hard that is to do correctly, so this is not meant unkindly, but the use of tenses does not conform to standard English usage and makes for confusion in the narrative line since it's not clear if some events happened before or after each other. Also, I believe a thorough study of all Constantine's works is going on somewhere, having just overheard of it at a conference recently, it would be great if some of that group's findings could be incorporated as available.
