Spelling

I don't speak spanish, but is 'permante' the correct spelling? 4u1e 01:56, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

There is an error with the name. Now the article is "Circuito Permanente de Jerez" (Jerez Permanent Circuit). That is a old name, using for a few years to diferenciate this circuit to the Urban circuit on the South of the city. They using "Circuito Permanente de Alta Velocidad de Jerez" (High speed permanent circuit of Jerez) too. The Urban circuit is not exist now, and the Circuit is called "Circuito de Jerez" just. the Here is the official web, here a page with info of the city hall and this is a last info in the most popular newspaper of the city (in the first line "Todo está listo en el Circuito de Jerez para albergar la resolución de la primera edición del campeonato internacional Superleague Formula."). I was just browsing around, and noticed that in the "Major Events" part, the V8 Supercar championship is listed as one of the events this circuit plays host to. This is completely wrong. V8 Supercars is an Australian Touring Car series, and the only times it has ventured overseas is at the circuits in Bahrain and Shanghai. Even these events were only three years ago at the earliest. The V8 Supercars have never raced at Jerez, so why are they listed? Stealthman (talk) 07:34, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Also, isn't the Carrera Cup an Australia-only championship? I've only ever seen races on TV here in Australia. Stealthman (talk) 02:01, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

There seems to also be a British championship but I couldn't find any evidence of any Carrera Cup races being run at Jerez, so I'll remove it. Good pickup again! DH85868993 (talk) 02:41, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Lap record is wrong. Pretty sure it's this: "Michael Schumacher, Ferrari (Bridgestone), 1:15.629" from http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2004/10/2284.html JJLudemann (talk) 05:44, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Circuito de Jerez → Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto – New name of track. I created a redirect, but I realized it should have been moved, much like what was done on Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
