Merge TN 165 edit

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion to merge Tennessee State Route 165 with the Cherohala Skyway. The results and the long time lapse indicate no change. WashuOtaku (talk) 00:08, 14 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Tennessee State Route 165 runs concurrently with the Tennessee side of the Skyway. The infobox would have to be moved to the article. Mapsax (talk) 15:00, 4 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Disagree This would make more sense if the NC side was also completely concurrent. Since it isn't... Famartin (talk) 19:38, 9 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment I think that there should be a Infobox of The two routes and some info about the the Skyway. ACase0000 (talk) 23:10, 26 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Disagree This gives a complete explanation of the Cherohala Skyway, while SR-165 and NC 143 share it together. Combining this article with one state route would be a disservice to the other state route that have equal dibs on it. --WashuOtaku (talk) 00:35, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Disagree Same with Washuotaku this wouldn't make since because its not just TN-165 it is also partly NC 143 and I don't feel that it isn't necessary. The skyway is like the Greensboro Urban Loop and look there are other articles that are fully part of the loop like Interstate 840 and Interstate 785--Ncchild (talk) 00:24, 16 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Weak oppose, since the portion of SR 165 right next to the Tellico River predates the skyway. Perhaps the skyway article can cover details on the 1977 construction, while SR 165 (and NC 143) covers the older roads in detail. --NE2 16:50, 25 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - TN 165 and the byway should remain separate articles, since not all of the byway is TN 165. Scenic byway articles describe the road differently than the numbered route article would. Dough4872 01:39, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
