The news of the year? edit

Without being so redundant, let me state that on April 4, 2008, I alerted the Supreme Court of the Philippines in 40 pages Motion[1]in my case, regarding Philippine Extrajudicial Killings and Desaparecidos, which I filed[2] or simply[3], but despite 3 court pleadings, it never acted on this grave matter. It is only Mary, the Blue Madonna and the Holy Eucharist that can solve and end these kidnappings and killings. I added this: They were intercepted on Sunday in Maimbung, Sulu, Jolo, by al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf militants led by armed men under Albader Parad, an Abu Sayyaf leader and Gapur Jundain, former member of the Moro National Liberation Front. Chief Superintendent Joel Goltiao, police regional director for the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, announced that:"Pinapakain naman sila [They are being fed well], they are well and alive, hindi sila nakatali [they are not tied] and nakakalabas sila [they are able to move around] but they are being escorted." Ransom were allegedly asked, ranging from P 10 million to P 30 million (227,000 and 454,000 dollars). Drilon is the third local journalist to be kidnapped by the Abu Sayyaf since 2000.inquirer.net/breakingnews, TV reporter, crew ‘alive, well’--police officialThe Drilon team was invitated by Mindanao State University Muslim academic, Professor, Octavio Dinampo, who was also missing..iht.com, Committee to Protect Journalists concerned for safety of kidnapped Filipino TV crew--Florentino floro (talk) 10:29, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Release and deadline edit

Negotiator Isnaji Alvarez stated that the abductors gave Drilon’s family until June 17 to pay 1.12 million dollars ransom, for her safe release, but a deadline for the other two hostages was unclear.Afp.google.com, Philippine kidnappers set Tuesday deadline for hostage release Xinhua, however reported that the “militants has set a deadline of Tuesday noon for a ransom of 15 million pesos (337,079 U.S. dollars), local media reported Monday.”news.xinhuanet.com, Militants set ultimatum for kidnapped Philippine journalist Isnaji earlier said “the abductors demanded 20 million pesos (US$450,000) in ransom.”canadianpress.google.com, Tuesday deadline set to ransom kidnapped Philippine journalists--Florentino floro (talk) 08:51, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
