No filter need for weather sealing edit
On some Canon EOS L lenses one needs to use a filter to complete the weather sealing, as the front element moves when focusing or zooming. An example for this is the Canon EF 17–40mm lens. But the front element on the EF 24- 105 does not move, so a filter is not need for purposes of weather sealing. Erland Eschenwald (talk) 14:12, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
