Fair use rationale for Image:Mosport logo.jpg edit

Image:Mosport logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:40, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Error on track map edit

There is an error on the posted track map. The currently posted map lists Moss Corner as 5, 6 and 7, whereas it should be 5a, 5b and 5c, as shown on the map on Mosport's own website:

I am not sure how to go about fixing this. Thanks

Well spotted. It is completely useless and should be entirely replaced (we can't edit the source file, just replace it). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rwintle (talkcontribs) 16:57, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
update - I've removed it. Maybe someone will come along with a corrected version. Rwintle (talk) 17:39, 23 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Adding new information (schedules, new series, etc.) edit

Hello, I am a new Wikipedia user, and I was wondering if it might be possible for me to submit some additional content concerning Mosport that could be added to the page. First let me declare that I do have a vested interest in Mosport- I work in Media Relations for the track. I understand and respect Wikipedia's desire to maintain pages that are as free of bias as possible, and I am hoping that I can contribute within the framework of the rules to help expand the page.

I am seeking to provide more detailed information about the track's recent history, along with details about our current racing programs (series, teams, drivers, etc.) along with some schedules.

Any advice regarding submissions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

While Wikipedia's "Neutral Point of View" guideline suggests you might be too close, I'd say please go ahead (somebody will re-edit if you post content that seems biased). This article is lacking in detail (e.g. new ownership) so the more the better. Feel free to replace that totally incorrect track map, too. Rwintle (talk) 16:57, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

More Pictures edit

Hello hard working wiki'ers who have maintained this article. Would it help at all to have a picture of the Castrol Tower (or any others that I've taken that aren't restricted by ALMS) http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattclare/5976407961/in/photostream  ?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattclare (talkcontribs) 19:08, 29 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

My vote is "yes" although maybe one showing the front straight, pits and tower would be better (if you have one). Rwintle (talk) 16:55, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
