Expanded info edit

Good info for inclusion in the article; however, keep in mind that Wikipedia is not just an alternative for unit/agency webpages. Section added by Don'tKnowItAtAll (talk) 13:17, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Any reason not to add a section about the Depot's use by the Strategic Air Command? edit

I was thinking about adding something like this to the History section:

Subheading: USAF Operations

Text: From 1963 to 1994, BGAD was home to Detatchment 8 of the Strategic Air Command's 1st Combat Group[footnote to source link]. Detatchment 8 operated multiple radar installations at BGAD, including a copy of a Soviet radar set captured by the Israeli Defense Forces during the Six-Day War in 1967. Various SAC units (primarily B-52 heavy bombers) conducted regular training runs over BGAD to practice and/or test various radar jamming and evasion techniques.

Any problem with this addition? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wesmorgan1 (talkcontribs) 19:08, 27 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
