Yemen Arab Spring section (3.4.6) needs grammar correction

I cannot discern what is meant by "Saleh used tactic of concession and violence to save his presidency". Concession and violence are generally at odds with one another; perhaps I am missing some niche political context for the term. Maybe this should be substituted out and replaced with a term that makes more sense for the average reader? In any case, "tactic" needs an S at the end to indicate plurality.

Demographic

If we definite 'peninsula', it is dry land surround by water from three sides and dryland from one side. The map you uploaded here does not match the definition of peninsula as you have included some islands around the peninsula. Bahrain and Socotra (part of Yemen in Arabian Sea), and all parts of Saudi Arabia cannot be part of the peninsula

Non-continental peninsula

Image Discussion

Not sure the current image in the infobox should be used, as it doesn't highlight the southern parts of Jordan and Iraq, which the second paragraph says are included on the peninsula. BhamBoi (talk) 21:12, 18 November 2022 (UTC)

• There is more than one definition. The image in the infobox is perfectly OK as it highlights the political extent – aligned with national boundaries that are precisely defined. Image for infographic inaccurate

Almost half of Iraq is within the Arabian gulf and so is most of Jordan. The differences between political and geographic need to be mentioned. Ideally use a map that shown the differences. I believe an image like that exists, yet it the areas shaded vary between different Wikipedia language pages.

ie- the Russian version shade 3/4 of Iraq While the English barely touch Iraq.

Syria, Lebanon and Israel

why isn’t Syria Lebanon Israel considered as part of the Arabian Peninsula?
