Merger proposal edit

I propose that Cloud.com be merged into CloudStack. Cloud.com does not even exist as an entity anymore. If you go to Cloud.com, it simply redirects to cloudstack.org product pages. With the purchase by Citrix, the Cloud.com entity became a one-year footnote in the annals of CloudStack, the product, and can easily be summarized in a small section on the CloudStack page.  Tabanger  22:24, 17 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Support - Interestingly the CloudStack page has more about the company than the product and the Cloud.com page has more about the product than the company. A merge will sort that out nicely. Jojalozzo 22:52, 17 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • a merge would be a good idea here — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.227.0.2 (talk) 21:19, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • the cloud.com page only serves as a historical page. I'm not too up to speed on Wikipedia editing guidlines, but for example, the cloud.com product versions section is in present tense, alsthough those versions don't exist, and the current community edition is the only version now and most definately is not GPL, but APL.Nik.martin (talk) 17:48, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • OK, there is consensus for the merge. --79.155.57.238 (talk) 10:06, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I did a pass over the company article to audit the sources, reduce some of the wordiness, and use past tense. Also dug out some of the old pages from archives to get the history. So might be easier to merge now. W Nowicki (talk) 20:20, 2 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, guys, but I just wanted to find out what a Cloud Stack was and this article turned my mind to cheese pulp. It did not tell me what I wanted to know and confused the issue with weird terms such as "hypervisors." Stop writing for your peers and think more of the common man. 190.194.168.136 (talk) 19:06, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
