FYI Government Websites are Public Domain edit

I saw that someone removed some CDC info off the article. It's fine if the article is better, but it isn't a copywrite issue. Government produces documents (including web sites) are all public domain. --~~~~

Unsubstantiated speculation edit

"On June 22, 2006, a California brown pelican, possibly under the influence of domoic acid, flew through the windshield of a car on the Pacific Coast Highway. The acid is found in the local seas."

C'mon. Birds fly into car windshields all the time everywhere. The Pacific Coast Highway is a long, long road. Domoic acid is found worldwide; where exactly is a 'local sea'? In the absence of any citation, this paragraph adds no substance to the article and should be removed.

What? edit

"There is no known antidote available for domoic acid, so if symptoms fit the description, it is advised to quickly go to the hospital." But if there's no "antidote", what good is hospitalization going to do? If there's a treatment, you can't say there's no antidote. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.168.1.100 (talkcontribs)
