Most sources list his name as Alexey, wouldn't it make sense to alter the article title to reflect that?Spilia4 (talk) 05:27, 6 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
I will back this move. His NHL profile spells his name with a 'y', as does his (admittedly seemingly abandoned) personal twitter. -Uncleben85 (talk) 00:24, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. The article should reflect WP:COMMONNAME, and the predominant common name in English is undoubtedly Alexey. If there's further consensus, I'll move it retaining the Alexei variant as a redirect. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:44, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
I support this move. Just looking at Google's search results makes it clear that article should be Alexey (45,200 results) and not Alexei (15,300 results). – Sabbatino (talk) 08:33, 15 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
