– I don't think the one in Arkhangelsk Governorate is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC - it's just the longest, and the other ones could totally be expanded using the same sources. Commas are also preferred over parentheses when disambiguating administrative divisions, and the different uyezds should use consistent spelling of the word. The spelling should be uezd, per the main article’s title and WP:CONSISTENCY, WP:CONSUB, and Category:Uezds of the Russian Empire. (After the main article was renamed, many articles on individual uezds have been renamed, but many more not yet.)  —Michael Z. 17:08, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
This would also be fine, tbh - as long as they're consistent with one another. HappyWith (talk) 17:09, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
It looks like the articles have been renamed for uezds in much of Armenia, Georgia, most of the Baltics, and maybe half of Ukraine. There are also some articles where the name has county, apskritis, or apriņķis. We won’t likely have complete consistency in all of these countries, but we should continue moving forward with the adoption of this spelling for this word any time we move a relevant article.  —Michael Z. 17:18, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
